HP MPIO Full Featured DSM for EVA4x00/6x00/8x00 family of Disk Arrays by Hewlett-Packard
This software is a device-specific module (DSM) for Microsoft Multipath I/O that optimizes connectivity between Windows servers and HP StorageWorks EVA 4000/6000/8000 disk arrays. It provides vendor-tuned multipathing that increases availability and performance by distributing I/O across redundant Fibre Channel paths and switching transparently to alternate paths if a link, port, or controller becomes unavailable.
The full-featured DSM adds EVA-aware path selection policies (such as round robin, least queue depth, and failover-only), preferred-path control per LUN, and continuous path health monitoring.
